Pepper


Pepper,common name for a family comprising shrubby or herbaceous flowering plants,and for its representative genus.the family contains about 14genera and about 1950 species.Pan-tropical in distribution,it is particularly abundant in moist areas.Other Than the representative genus,the only economically important member of the family is a genus sometimes called pepper elder.It is an ornamental plant grown in greenhouses.
Peppercorns that are harvested while green and immature and then allowed to dry yield black pepper.To produce white pepper,ripe peppercorns(which are red)are soaked in water and white outer covering is rubbed off.pepper is one of the oldest known spices,in use for at least 3000 years.

                                            Recipe

Spice TEA

Ingredients:
  • 1 Tea spoonful of spice Tea (composed of Cardamom,Ginger,Cinnamon,Coriander,Anise,Cummin Seeds etc.)
  • 02 cups of boiled water.
  • 02-03 drops of natural vanilla essence.
Method of preparation:
              Put 01 Teaspoonful of spice tea into a tumbler and add 02 cups of boiled water,close the tumbler foe 02-03 minutes and sift the content with a tea sifter,add 02-03 drops of vanilla essence and stir.Add sugar if desired or required.
The spice tea stimulates the body and medicinally effective against disorders.   

                                  Today's Recipe

Cocoa Milk.

Ingredients:
  • 01 Tea spoon of cocoa powder.
  • 02 Tea spoon of milk powder /canned milk/condensed milk etc. 
  • 02/03 Drops of first quality red banana essence.
  • 01 cup of prepared hot tea/01 cup of hot milk.
Method of preparation:
                       Mix cocoa powder,milk powder and banana essence with a spoon in a tumbler by adding a little bit of hot water then while pour the cup of prepared hot tea into the mixture in the tumbler,sugar only if required or desired.
